Following removal of a melanoma five years ago, I had developed an amelanotic lentigo maligna on my face which had become quite large, as a result of not being visible. Matthew Potter and Dr Richard Turner worked closely together on this, Richard Turner determined the margins using Johnson's techique and then Matthew Potter carried out a major surgical procedure (cervico-facial rotation). He showed me picures in advance of what to expect immediately after the operation and then long term, and it has worked out exactly as predicted - pretty gruesome on the day of discharge but now settled down so well that no-one notices that anything has been done, despite the scale of the surgery. I am very pleased with the result. Done privately, as although the same procedure would have been available on the NHS, there was a much longer wait and the procedure may not have been done entirely by Matthew Potter.

I met Mr Potter prior to my melanoma op and he was very informative and helpful, explaining what he was going to do. He reassured me that the scar which looked awful on the photos he showed me, will go away and will be hardly noticeable - and he was right! I still see him in 6 monthly intervals when he examines me very thoroughly. I can recommend Mr Potter wholeheartedly. He is a wonderful surgeon and has a lovely personality.

Mr Potte recently assisted in an operation to replace part of my skull i was very worried about the wound being closed following s bad experience with s surgeon over keen on staples. mr potter continually listened to my bleating about this spent time to reassure me things would be differnt with him and took me through s likely complication very . i saw him very soon after my operation and several times the day or two after. while genrally worried about an opertion on my skull e put meat complete. ease over the piece that worried me the most . Due to the nature of the operation and not because of Mr Potter i have a slght mark on my face he has spoken to me about my future options, if i decide to do something about this i wont be considering going anywhere else and woul recommend his services at the Manor Hospital Oxford.

I had Labiaplasty 2 weeks ago and am very very pleased with the results. My whole surgery experience from the initial consultation to the sign off two weeks after surgery could not have been better. Dr Potter was very understanding and gave me confidence to discuss my issue which was great as I had been too scared to talk about it previously. The procedure was explained to me in detail and I had the opportunity to view before and after pictures of his work and I decided to go ahead with surgery and no longer felt embarrassed of my body. On the day of surgery Dr Potter and his team were brilliant and I was very excited to be having the operation. The operation went smoothly and I was home within 4 hours and have had no pain at all, even straight after surgery. I absolutely love the results and have my confidence back and owe that to Dr Potter and his team. I would not hesitate to contact Dr Potter about any future surgery, cosmetic or plastic as he was very honest and understanding from the get go. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions about other surgery and cosmetic procedures I had been thinking about and was very honest when I asked should I have any of these procedures. Many thanks to all, A very happy patient
